Sidney Volunteer–Jane Raudabaugh

It's Volunteer Appreciation Week and the Sidney Museum and Arts Association appreciates the help and support we receive from all of our Sidney Volunteers.  Be sure to stop by the Sidney Art Gallery and Museum and meet some of these intrepid people.  We are always on the lookout for good volunteers. If you are looking to become a Sidney Volunteer, click here for more information and please let us know.  We are looking for Sidney Volunteers for the Log Cabin Museum as well as the Sidney Art Gallery.

We'd like to introduce you to one of our Sidney Volunteers:  Jane RaudaboughJane-Raudabough

Jane has been volunteering for about two years at the Sidney Art Gallery.  She is originally from Port Orchard, born near the high school.  When asked what she enjoys most about being a Sidney Volunteer, she replied "I enjoy my time here, watching the artists grow every month in new receptions. I enjoyed helping decorate and get the Gallery ready for the monthly Port Orchard Art Walk and then being there to meet the people who came for the art walk."

An artist in her own right, her favorite Sidney artists are Bev Pederson, Melba Moran and Elissa Whittleton.  Jane crochets necklaces, which are available at the Sidney Art Gallery.  Her favorite activities?  "I enjoy making handmade greeting cards, taking photos and walking."necklace640
