Needle Turn Applique Class – March 10, 2014
The Sidney Museum and Arts Association is offering a free Needle Turn Applique class March 10th, 2014 from 6PM to 7:30PM. The instructors for the class are Mary Peterson and Dana Harmon. You will learn the basic techniques of how to mark, cut, and sew the applique pieces down to a base fabric, using the ladder stitch to create an applique block. The instructors will share a few examples of applique block pieces they have completed, their favorite marking tools and the tricks they use to mark, position, and sew their pieces in place. A small applique kit will be provided to each student. Space is limited so you must sign up in advance to attend.
