Augusta Asberry
Augusta works in a variety of media including acrylic, pastels,
and watercolors, which she combines with India ink for her best
known works of African Dancers. These highly stylized primitive
figures, wearing her original designs, are merely faceless mannequins
caught in the movement of flowing fabric and dancing colors. Augusta's
work is published as limited edition prints and note cards. She
lives in Bremerton, Washington with her husband and business partner,
Walter Asberry.

Beth Logan
A nationally recognized poster / print artist out of Seattle
Washington. When Beth began a career in graphic design, it resulted
in a contract with Poster Porters, a Seattle-based print distributor.
With 69 + prints currently in distribution, she's branched out
into painting functional art and now has a line of T-shirts and
magnets which are also distributed nationally.

Amy Burnett
Amy Burnett is fourth generation descendent of a pioneer Bremerton
(Washington) family. She owns and operates the Amy Burnett Gallery
in downtown Bremerton. She is a writer and publisher, and part
owner of the Hoodsport Winery. Wine labels featuring Amy's art
have become a very popular way to begin a collection of her work.

Deborah Danielson
Deborah is a Port Orchard Washington artist. Her acrylic originals
can be found on canvas and paper. She works in mostly whimsical
subjects and has a series of frogs in time period clothing. Her
other favorite subjects are bright patchwork animals. All these
works are extremely detailed. Her paintings are in many west coast
collections.

Olga "Toni" Nelson
Toni is a native of Washington and has been active in the art
guilds in this area for over 30 years. She paints in watercolors
exclusively, and has a bright loose style. Many of her works are
expressions of the northwest, and can be found in national and
international collections.

Barbara Newton
Barbara Newton resides in Renton, WA., and has been part of the
Sidney Art Gallery since 1994. With a career background as a fashion
illustrator working in pen and ink, Barbara discovered the joy
of color through colored pencils in 1989. Her first two pieces,
created in late 1991, are included in the 1993 Rockport Publishers
showcase book, The Best of Colored Pencil. Subsequent work has
been published in The Best of Colored Pencil 2, Creative Colored
Pencil, and The Artist's Magazine.

Carol Ward
Having grown up on a farm in Indiana, Carol was so inspired by
the Pacific Northwest's beauty after a few days visit she moved
here in 1977. Her art started as a very young girl with a small
box of broken pastels. After settling in the Seattle area, she
was introduced to oils. Once the brushes, oils, canvas and awe
of the Pacific Northwest were combined, realistically detailed
landscapes, wildlife, and florals evolved.

Salamander Pottery
In Donna Vaquer's art studio you'll find a menagerie of whimsical
clay salamanders, hedgehogs, rabbits, and toucans, all in various
stages of production. This Port Orchard artist is also a teacher.
She brings clay into classrooms twice a year, showing students
how they can pinch clay into mini-monsters, or fashion clay into
cars. Donna and her husband, Frederico, are both Montessori-trained
teachers. After teaching many years in southern California, Donna
finally decided to focus on her art, with occasional forays into
the classroom.

Roy Carr
Artist Roy Carr has lived in Port Orchard for over 20 years.
Roy studied art while attending college in Sacremento California
and currently specializes in seascapes. He has been influenced
by the techniques of E. John Robinson, Roger W. Curtis and Borlase
Smart, and is continually researching seascape art. Roy takes
frequent trips to the Washington coast to photograph and sketch
our magnificent coastline. He is a true student of seascapes and
has been for many years.

Tanya lives in Manchester Washington. She is dedicated to working

Sue has lived in Kent, WA since 1979. She grew up in Southern
California, (A Valley Girl) and attended college where she studied
art. She painted store front windows during the holiday seasons.
These displays defined and set the mood for the seasons in an
area where it was sunny almost all year round.
