While living in New Mexico Susan was directing her talents towards Native American outfits and portraits, Still Life & Wild Life. Now living once again in Washington, she plans to continue painting all the things that fascinate her. Susan LeBow has competed in Nationwide shows. In 1999 her image "Iced Sweet Corn", was selected in a national "culture and agriculture" competition, which attracted some 800 entries. The winning images then were placed in a 1999 calendar for the Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin.
